Dr. Peggy Spencer

Dr. Spencer spearheads the effort to ensure all Quick-Read brochures are medically-accurate and suitable for a consumer audience. Dr. Spencer brings a wealth of real-world experience to the table. She is a graduate of the University of California with a BA in Biology with Honors, and the University of Arizona College of Medicine with a MD. She is certified by the American Board of Family Practice. She serves as a staff physician at the University of New Mexico (UNM) Student Health and Counseling Center, and holds an adjunct faculty position at the UNM School of Medicine. Dr. William H. Mayer Medical Editor

Dr. Mayer works alongside Dr. Spencer and assists in the review of all Quick-Read brochures. Only after both have signed off, can the brochures be published.

Bringing along his knowledge from a vast career in the medical industry, Dr. Mayer is Board Certified in Preventive Medicine. He is currently Vice President at Bronson Healthcare Group, a not-for-profit, tertiary healthcare system serving Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana. He is also Chief, Strategy and Business Development for the Family Health Care Center of Battle Creek, MI.  Read more about Dr. Mayer here.
